The inspiration for this architectural wonder seems to have come from outer space

La Sagrada Família, a giant Roman Catholic church built by Antoni Gaudi in Barcelona, is one of the most famous long-term construction projects in the world: work began on it almost 150 years ago, and continues to this day.

Impressive, isn’t it?

The foundation responsible for the construction of the church has released a video demonstrating how Gaudi’s masterpiece will look like when it’s finally finished. Combining helicopter footage with computer animation, the clip depicts the remaining stages of the construction up to 2026, when the Sagrada Família is scheduled to be completed.
